renqavi™ SpoonPath Beginner Spoon Carving Kit — Two Carving Tools, Basswood Blank & Finishing Abrasives

renqavi™

Curve & Hollow · Adult wood carving

🪵 Follow one project from blank to finished shape.

SpoonPath brings together a focused tool pair and a shaped basswood blank for an approachable adult carving project. Instead of beginning with a full rectangular block, you start with an outlined spoon profile that leaves material for shaping the handle, refining the outside, and hollowing the bowl.

The proposed spoon design features a softly squared handle end and an oval bowl for a clean, contemporary look. Printed reference drawings show front and side views, helping you compare proportions as you work. Sandpaper is included for smoothing surfaces after carving.

✨ A project with a clear direction

• Outlined basswood blank: Reduces the amount of initial silhouette cutting.
• Two complementary tools: A straight knife for shaping and a hook for hollowing.
• Contemporary spoon profile: Combines an oval bowl with a gently tapered handle.
• Three abrasive grades: Progress through 120-, 180-, and 220-grit sanding.
• Reusable layout reference: Keep the printed drawings for future practice.

📦 What’s included: One straight carving knife, one handed hook knife, two blade covers, one approximately 8 × 2 × 1.25-inch spoon blank, six sandpaper sheets, and one printed project guide.

Specifications: Carbon-steel blades; beech handles; unfinished basswood blank. Wood grain and color vary. Supplied as a craft project; finish is not included, and no food-contact claim is made for the unfinished piece.
